Logan Jacik commits to Ohio University -

Logan Jacik became one of the first Nebraska 2014 graduates to continue on his playing career when he announced his intentions to play for Ohio University.

Jacik, a 6’0/145 right-handed pitcher out of Millard West was very impressive in the NRB Pitcher’s Showcase a few weeks ago. “Logan sat primarily at 86 and touched a couple of 88’s. His secondary stuff was very good and he showed the ability to throw all four pitches for strikes” – NRB Staff. Jacik joins Ohio who finished 16-11 last year in the Mid-American Conference. He will also join a familiar Omaha face as former Creighton University Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Rob Smith recently took the head coaching reins at Ohio University. Jacik is the first Division I Nebraska Recruiting Board commit.

Logan had this to say: "I am very excited to have the opportunity to play for the Ohio University -BOBCATS and Coach Smith. I would like to thank the NRB staff for helping me with this process. The NRB staff really are dedicated to helping players from Nebraska get to the next level. Go BOBCATS ! "
